Peel Region had no dedicated furniture bank before Royal Furniture Bank. When families secure housing, they often move into completely empty units — without a bed to sleep in or a table to eat at. Your support changes that.

A Bed for Every Family Member

No child should sleep on a cold floor. Your donation helps us source, clean, and deliver beds and mattresses to newly housed families — providing the safe rest that is fundamental to physical and mental health.

Breaking the Cycle of Homelessness

A furnished home dramatically reduces the likelihood of returning to homelessness. When people have a stable, dignified living environment, they are better positioned to maintain housing, find employment, and build community connections.

Stronger Families, Stronger Community

We serve over 500 households annually across Brampton, Mississauga, and Caledon. Each donation directly contributes to a family's ability to settle in safely, care for their children, and become active participants in the Peel community.

We prioritize newcomers, refugees, seniors, youth adults, and others who face systemic barriers. Donations allow us to serve those who are most often overlooked by mainstream housing support services.

Sourcing, cleaning, inspecting, and preparing beds, tables, kitchen items, and household essentials for delivery.

Warehouse Operations 20%

Storage, organization, maintenance, and safe management of the Mississauga warehouse facility.

Staffing & Coordination 20%

Case coordination, referral processing, client assessment, and community outreach staffing costs.

Community Support Services 10%

Connecting clients with mental health resources, housing navigation, and community programs beyond furniture.
