Every Family Deserves a
Place Called Home
We provide free essential furniture to individuals and families transitioning out of homelessness across Peel Region — because a bed, a table, and a chair are the foundation of a stable life.
Building a Lasting Foundation
for Families in Need
Helping Families
Build Stable Lives
Royal Furniture Bank was created with a simple but powerful belief: that housing stability starts with having a proper home. When individuals and families secure housing, they deserve to move in with the essentials they need to live safely and with dignity.
We work alongside shelters, housing workers, and outreach teams across Peel Region to ensure that the moment someone gets a key to their front door, they have everything they need to make it a home.
Equity & Dignity
Every client is treated with respect. No referral is turned away based on background or circumstance.
Coordinated Access
All services are delivered through Peel's Coordinated Access System, ensuring those with the most urgent need are served first.
Long-Term Commitment
We are committed to building lasting change in Peel Region — growing our reach, deepening our partnerships, and serving more families every year.
From Referral
to Front Door
Our referral-based model ensures furniture reaches the families who need it most, quickly and with dignity. A $300 delivery fee applies — covering transport, insurance, and the moving team.
Agency Referral
A shelter, housing worker, outreach team, or hospital refers an eligible client who is moving into housing.
Needs Assessment
We complete a Basic Needs & Housing Stability Assessment to determine the right items for the household.
Package Prepared
Our team prepares a tailored, pest-free, cleaned package of household essentials at our Mississauga warehouse.
Delivered Home
Items are delivered directly to the client's home across Peel Region. Someone must be present to receive delivery.
